The idea behind "vantablack"

ree

The reason I started writing this piece was mainly because I`ve always felt horror movies, old shows, documentaries played it safe on the aspect of how horror should actually be. Like the world is seriously afraid of anything else?

Me personally, I feel horror should genuinely make you feel uneasy. TRULY uneasy. Not cheap jump scares. Not fake actors dressed up as butchers. I`m talking about the real thing.

You are home alone and you closed a door to an anonymous room from last night and pay no mind. You make yourself some breakfast and you realized you forgot something. You rush down the hallways again and...

that door before is wide open.

Dread slowly begins to take away your psyche. You know you closed it. You know you did.

Yet here it is, wide open.

That feeling of knowing for sure you did something, and it`s changed on you, and you live alone.

That`s the fear I crave.

That`s horror to me.

If you haven`t experience true fear, then you have not had a taste for what it feels like for psychological statements of pages to invade and infiltrate your mental mindset.

That feeling of being in a quiet room with someone you don`t know. Someone dangerous. Someone unwell. And you are their target. Predator vs. Prey. The feeling of helplessness and knowing that your about to die is absolutely terrifying. And I took full advantage of that fear in this piece.

The idea of Vantablack is a theory of how humans are derived of the sick things the average person finds, "appalling". Discovering a corpse, for example. It is a capsule of the human mind of how evil we can be if we do not receive the things we ask or demand. Humans suffer under Humans. It is unknown what happens beyond this mortal coil. But one man had enough and decided to risk his line of work to put an end to the chaos.

But....he becomes the chaos.
